The Four Horseman of the Apocalypse--Revelation 6

Revelation Chapter 6

There is a side by side, parallel chart comparing Jesus’ words in Matthew 24:4-22/Luke 21:25-26 (otherwise known as The Olivet Discourse) with Revelation Chapter 6 located at: . These passages are all describing the same time period:

There is an obvious correlation between Revelation 6 with Matthew 24:4-8, and Jesus’ clear statement with what he described as The Beginning of Sorrows. It is revealed in scripture that The Beginning of Sorrows does not commence until this present age of grace is consummated at the resurrection / rapture of those who are in Christ.

The Beginning of Sorrows is the first 3 ½ years of Daniel’s 70th week and immediately precedes the last 3 ½ years of “the week” which is The Time of Jacob’s Trouble. For details on these things, see the Revelation Plus group archives and also the Free downloadable book, Redemption: Bible Prophecy Simplified—link in sidebar (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, 1 Thessalonians 5:20, 2 Thessalonians 2:8, Revelation 4:1, Daniel 9:24-27).

The Revelation is a chronological book. The Church is not seen on earth, at all, after chapter 3. But it is seen in Heaven (Revelation 4:1-4, 5:8-14, 7:9, 14:4).

The Beginning of Sorrows is ushered in by the four horsemen of the apocalypse after the church is caught up and is the official beginning of Daniel’s 70th week.
